Abstract
US 41 in Evansville carries approximately 50,000 vehicles a day. The existing bridges along this corridor were in need of rehabilitation, but two lanes of traffic had to be maintained during construction. Due to the size of the existing bridges, two lanes could not be maintained on each bridge, so a temporary modular bridge was erected in the median and launched into place between the existing bridges. Come learn about this project.
