Abstract
This session provides tools and techniques to facilitate an effective walk audit as a means to make better planning decisions. We will discuss why communities use walk audits, how to organize one, who should participate, and how to plan a route that showcases built environment issues. Attendees will go on a sample walk audit to experience effective techniques for leading a group.
