Research shows providing regular, constructive feedback to students is an important step in retaining incoming students enrolled in gateway courses. A tool developed by Purdue University called PassNote will be highlighted that facilitates the creation of feedback messages for instructors. Participants will learn about this research, the tool’s use, and ways to apply it at their own campuses.
