Aims & Scope

The American Journal of Rising Scholar Activities provides a venue for undergraduate Rising Scholar students to gain publication experience and discuss their experiential activities during their collegiate tenure. The benefit to current students is that they get to describe how their experiences have benefited them personally, offer tips to incoming students with similar backgrounds, and demonstrate their technical writing capability. The benefit to potential future students is to see how individuals similar to themselves have tackled the unique issues associated with attendance in higher education institutions for low socio-economic students in STEM fields. Our journal only accepts articles on this narrow range of student experiences to remain focused on assisting undergraduates that fall within the Rising Scholar demographic.
