Abstract
In this session we will discuss the importance and benefits of local public agencies having transportation policies and standards for such areas as access management, street design, bike-pedestrian, and right-of-way dedication. Benefits may include contracted consulting guidance for LPA projects, planning a local transportation system for growth, and future long-range planning for the LPA.
