Abstract
This session will provide an overview of the latest in protected intersection planning and design. Building on NCHRP research project 15-63, Guidance to Improve Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety at Intersections, lessons from protected intersections in Berkeley and Salt Lake City illuminate the safest design treatments for bicycles and pedestrians.
