This presentation details the accelerated construction of the I-70 over Indiana SR 121 bridges and includes a brief history of the funding roles of INDOT and FHWA and the designer contract documents. The construction engineering methodology and step-by-step construction sequence will be detailed, with construction decisions for the slide, bridge demolition, bridge slide operations, and project completion.
