Abstract
In the fall of 2002, SR 24 (R-26008) was seeded with eight different native mixes: north slope A&B, south A&B, ditch, flat area A&B, annuals. In 2003 the seeding was determined a failure, but by 2014 this area was a diverse thriving ecosystem. What can be learned? What worked? What didn’t work? What are realistic expectations for roadside plantings? I have monitored this seeding with photos since 2003 and offer a case study.
