Aims & Scope

Gifted Children calls upon both researchers and practitioners in the gifted field to submit original, unpublished work in the form of a) research papers, b) tools for researchers, c) book reviews, and d) practitioner pieces. Topics range from reports of original research, descriptions of tools for enhancing research (such as secondary data sets or innovative methods), reviews of practitioner- or researcher-focused books, and articles for use by practitioners in the field. The goal is to provide editorial decisions within 2 months or 60 days of submission. All research papers (empirical and literature review) will receive double-blind peer review by members of the editorial board or ad-hoc reviewers selected for their expertise. All submissions will be reviewed by the editor.
