Description

Drones and autonomous vehicles may make our lives easier in many ways, but they are also likely to be used as weapons intended to terrorize and already have been in some cases like the recent drone attack on Venezuelan President Nicola Maduro. This talk will discuss the technologies’ potential for good and evil and the potential threats unmanned systems already pose and could potentially pose in the future, such as terrorists loading a bomb into a driverless car. It also will cover some things researchers are doing to try to prevent bad things from happening.
