Abstract
Nearly a third of Indiana children ages 10 to 17 are overweight or obese. Healthier food choices could make a difference. This publication details what happened when a Purdue professor coupled experiential learning (gardening) with a plant sciences curriculum in a rural Indiana intermediate school.
