Abstract

A cultural change is necessary to address engineering’s primary workforce challenge: Fewer students are entering the profession as aging workforce is rapidly leaving, and 40% of STEM students switch majors or do not finish. This panel will include energetic discussions and solicit audience feedback with a focus on attracting new talent to the profession through Mentorship, developing Next Generation Leaders, and expanding STEM Curriculum to include New Technology.
