Event Description/Abstract
This presentation will provide lessons learned and best practice recommendations for in-house management of Community Crossings Matching Grant projects from the perspective of the LPA, with a focus on Porter County’s program from 2019–2022. Topics will include grant application, internal decision-making, HMA inlay design, custom spec writing, alternative pavement treatments, and construction observation. Each topic will account for in-house staff manhours to help participants evaluate which items they can complete with in-house staff.
