Abstract
This panel presentation will discuss current efforts to electrify freight in both the public and private sectors. NACFE will discuss the demonstration and evaluation of real-world zero emission freight movement through their Run on Less – Electric Program. HNTB will discuss the public-sector’s planning and dashboarding efforts to support and measure freight electrification. INDOT will discuss the innovative effort of the ASPIRE Program to develop and test wireless power transfer on interstate highways.
