Abstract
Over the last 2 years, the prequalification process for contractors has been completely overhauled. INDOT has developed a new electronic application called contractor prequalification (CPQ) and a new contractor evaluation system called contractor performance evaluation (CPE). Along with the new application platform, the prequalification division has introduced rule and process changes. This session present an overview of these changes, a live walk-through of the new systems, and a discussion of the purposes behind the vast changes to contractor prequalification.
