Abstract
This session presents best practices and lessons learned from completing a complex load rating of the I-65 over SR 46 basket handle tied arch bridge. We will discuss how the effects of the multidirectional post tensioning in the floor system were captured; how the stiffness of the arch-to-foundation fixity was evaluated; and updates to the AASTHO LRFD 9th edition code equations for rectangular box-section member.
