Abstract
2020 brought about monumental changes to public involvement on INDOT and local transportation projects. COVID-19 increased our reliance on virtual participation and made us rethink how in-person meetings and hearings are conducted. This presentation will provide an update on INDOT’s new public involvement procedures, the latest COVID-19 requirements, and examples of public involvement under INDOT’s decentralized process.
