Abstract
Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and spray-on liners are used to rehabilitate damaged culverts. Our study objectives were to (1) compile and summarize known CIPP and spray-on lining surface water contamination incidents; (2) provide an overview of water quality impact studies on CIPP and spray-on liners; and (3) compare and contrast current construction practices for 32 transportation agencies. In this session we share what we learned and provide a list of recommended construction specifications to minimize risks to water quality
