Abstract
As Director of the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), Professor Haddock strives to deliver technology to local agencies to help foster a safer, more efficient, and environmentally sound transportation system. He has gained a working knowledge of local agency procedures and has come to better understand the needs of local agencies and the personnel that run them. Professor Haddock’s teaching and research focus is on pavement materials, design, and management, with a strong track record of collaborative research with federal sponsors, state departments of transportation, local agencies, and the private sector.
