Abstract
Adding recycled asphalt to the mix has been going on for more than 30 years, but still there are questions about how it works, whether the new and old asphalt blend, and whether the recycled mix performs as well. Recent research explains how recycled asphalt can be used and the impact it has on hot mix properties.
