Abstract
Most highway professionals are aware of the main concepts of highway safety. But there are many other concepts, odd statistics, and unique countermeasures that are not well publicized and that we might consider brilliant—or silly. As a host of ideas are presented, you will be challenged to consider how to improve highway safety on your roads, and maybe share some of your own ideas.
