Abstract
Certain features at an intersection will increase the likelihood of a crash. This presentation will discuss how to identify and correct these high-risk features and other common rural intersection safety problems though costeffective, proven countermeasures. Technologybased countermeasures that may be used when low-cost solutions are not appropriate will also be discussed.
