Abstract
This session covers the lessons learned from the development of INDOT’s in-house chip seal/ fog seal program. Presenters will discuss the methodology involved in candidate selection, material selection and logistics. Presenters will also discuss the statewide effort to provide training and support to the INDOT staff that has reintroduced this age old surface treatment as a viable, economical, and effective pavement preservation treatment.
