Bilingualism Effects at the Syntax-semantics Interface: Evidence from the Spanish Present and Progressive Tense
Description
We examine the acquisition of the ongoing semantic values of the Spanish present and progressive tense in L2 teachers and heritage speakers in the United States. Following a transfer perspective, we investigate differences in aspect in the two tenses of the two experimental groups in comparison with the control group.
