Call for Lightning Talks & Panel Presentations

Lightning Talks: What could you share in five minutes about your work as a business librarian? MBLS invites all registered attendees to submit a proposal for a lightning talk! Whether it’s a successful collaboration, a creative solution to a challenge, a new service, a teaching strategy, a collection insight, or a behind-the-scenes win, we’re eager to showcase the great work happening in our field. If it relates to business librarianship, it’s fair game.

Panel Presentations: If you’re interested in showcasing your work as a business librarian in greater depth, we encourage you to apply for a 10-minute panel presentation. In this case, we’d anticipate a set of three 10-minute panel presentations (which the MBLS committee will organize into a panel) and an additional 15 minutes of Q&A for the panel. Note: This is a new format we’re introducing this year, and we’re excited to offer an opportunity for more extended discussion. While we welcome proposals for panel presentations, we kindly ask that you remain flexible. Depending on the overall program needs, some submissions may be recommended for inclusion as lightning talks instead.

Submit your idea here. You only need your title and abstract at this point in the process.
