The Industrial Pharmacy Advanced Training (IPAT) community numbers over 350 members including about 200 graduates of Purdue’s certificate and master’s programs in the US, about 140 graduates of the IPAT certificate and Purdue’s master’s program at Kilimanjaro School of Pharmacy in Africa, and our professors and industry leaders who have taught in the program over the years. In the last two years, we have greatly improved the administration and operational capabilities of our program. Our program is now housed in Purdue’s Biotechnology Innovation and Regulatory Science Center (BIRSC). Our program has matured into one of the top global pharmaceutical sciences programs and we have numerous ideas for expanding the BIRSC based on Purdue’s global mission. Due to the ever-changing subject area, we make great strides to stay abreast of innovations in the field and regularly host symposia to further educate those in the community.
