Abstract
Presented at 2016 POD Network Conference on Transformative Relationships: Fostering Cultures of Deep Learning. The presentation discusses challenges of standardizing sections of a course, ways to measure student perceptions and performance for assessment, and relative strengths and weaknesses of the quasi-experimental design for education research.
