Abstract
Humans have adapted to changes regarding current events in the world. With COVID-19, it has led designers and architects to rethink how museums should be designed. Some have incorporated more open spaces or natural light to promote more cleaner environments. In this paper, I explore a previous example of an instance where a disease changed architecture and connect it to current examples that were implemented in a couple museums today. I then explain if these changes will last long-term depending on various factors. My goal is for the reader to understand that humans can adapt to situations that affect our daily lives.
