Description

This session will provide 3 case studies of leading and managing change in university libraries from Australia and Aoteaora – New Zealand. The speakers will all explore the nature of change in academic library contexts, the approaches taken, goals and benefits achieved. They will have a particular focus on culture change, strategic alignment to organisational priorities, and will share lessons learned. Whilst focusing on academic libraries, they will also look ‘beyond’ with examples of broader change in universities and change lessons that can be applied more widely. Following the case study presentations there will be a panel discussion and Q&A to explore the different scenarios, experiences and learnings.
