This paper brings together leaders from Australian academic and library sectors discussing initiatives to amplify Indigenous Knowledges and voices. The paper is introduced by Professor Kathleen Butler (Bundjalung and Worimi), Director, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research, Strategy and Leadership at University of Newcastle, and previously Director of the Wollotuka Institute, one of the longest-established Indigenous student centres in Australia’s tertiary sector. Laki Sideris, Head of Product at Informit, will highlight initiatives undertaken by academic publication database Informit, including a series of interviews with ‘Indigenous Scholars You Should Know’, in which First Nations researchers of diverse fields and varied career stages articulate their current projects. University of Newcastle librarian, Matthew Davis, will discuss how the library actively supports and enhances Indigenous research, teaching, and learning within the University and region.
