Smoothness of CR maps between certain finite type hypersurfaces in complex space
Abstract
The regularity of a CR map between two smooth hypersurfaces in $\doubc\sp2$ is studied. Assuming that the map is of finite multiplicity, the target hypersurface is of essential type one, and that the map has an assumed initial regularity, it is shown that the map is actually $C\sp\infty$. The proof uses an almost-holomorphic version of the Edge of the Wedge theorem.
