Hochschild homology of Morita equivalent etale groupoids
Abstract
We study Morita equivalence of smooth etale groupoids, and establish a minimal definition of the concept. We then prove that the Hochschild and cyclic homology of the Connes' algebras of smooth compactly supported functions on smooth groupoids is invariant under Morita equivalence.
