Nobody Stays in Bullston Anymore
Abstract
Nobody Stays in Bullston Anymore is a collection of stories exploring the disintegration of small-town American through the lens of the fictional Bullston, a Southern Illinois town eroded by drugs, war, and a collapsing economy. These stories navigate love, crisis, and loss through a variety of perspectives that reveal the micro- and macro-level struggles of Middle American in the post-Gulf War era.^
