Cloud computing capability maturity model
Abstract
Cloud computing, like software development in the 1960's and 1970's, is creating dramatic changes in the penetration of computing in everyday life. The software capability maturity model (CMM) was developed to address the quality and process issues found in developing software for the Department of Defense (DoD). Similar models, like System Security Engineering-CMM, have been created to address in other facets of computing. As a result of this study, a CMM for cloud computing was developed to address the continued process higher education faces while acquiring, deploying, and using cloud computing services.
