History of Scars
Abstract
These essays explore wounds and scar tissue—the fragmentation that occurs in the aftermath of trauma, and the inevitable search for cohesion. They take up the ways in which we construct narrative in our lives—in the writer’s case, through climbing, writing, relationships, and food. ^
