Abstract

Have you often heard from members of the public that nothing they say matters? This presentation will focus on how the project owner and designer collaborate to actively address concerns from the public. We will discuss several recent transportation project examples where extensive public participation was sought, evaluated, and utilized. Panelists will demonstrate how to prepare successfully for public involvement and incorporate feedback into final project plans.
