Abstract

In Northeastern Indiana, secondary roads can be severely abused due to heavy traffic from farm implements, trucks, and horse-drawn buggies. This presentation details how LaGrange County improved the performance of these roads and developed a successful chip seal program by implementing suggestions from a recent synthesis out of the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering.
