Abstract
Transition Plans are only a part of what is required under the ADA. We will look closer at the entire process that surrounds the Transition Plan and the Transition Plan itself. This session will briefly discuss the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the applicable Titles, and its relationship to other laws. We will cover the Administrative requirements and the Self- Evaluation of programs, services, and activities, which precede the Transition Plan. We will learn the basics of a Transition Plan, understand who it applies to, and provide an understanding of the required elements of a Transition Plan.
