Abstract
Bypass lanes have safety and operational impacts on both motorists and pedestrians. This presentation discusses preliminary roundabout design with an emphasis on bypass lanes and roundabout spacing. Presentation also discusses the interaction between roundabouts and traffic signals and roundabouts that are very close to other roundabouts.
