The Covid-19 Pandemic has disrupted many aspects of life, including education. Both educators and students have struggled to quickly adapt to virtual classrooms, dealing with a lack of access to internet, hands-on activities, and student engagement. Mrs. Sharita Ware, Indiana's Teacher of the Year in 2022, stands out with her unique approaches to emphasizing STEM in the classroom even through the pandemic.
