Abstract
The Covid-19 Pandemic has disrupted many aspects of life, including education. Both educators and students have struggled to quickly adapt to virtual classrooms, dealing with a lack of access to internet, hands-on activities, and student engagement. Mrs. Sharita Ware, Indiana's Teacher of the Year in 2022, stands out with her unique approaches to emphasizing STEM in the classroom even through the pandemic. This article describes and compares Mrs. Ware's methods in the classroom with other teachers' perspectives to show how STEM learning is essential for students.
