This event is a consecutive International Conference on Durability of Concrete Structure (ICDCS) , initialized in Zhejiang University in 2008 and was successfully organized by Hokkaido University (2010), Queen’s University Belfast (2012), Purdue University (2014), Shenzhen University (2016) and University of Leeds (2018). The University of Jinan (UJN) will organize the 7th meeting in May 20-22, 2022. It is to focus on bringing together international experts on the durability of concrete structures to share their experiences and achievements, meanwhile, discuss the problems, so the future challenges on the issues of concrete durability could be properly addressed.

University of Jinan (UJN) was founded in 1948, and is a key and comprehensive university in Shandong Province and is also entitled a distinctive institution of higher learning which is committed to producing applied-talented students. Enrolling students from all over China, it offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs and enjoys the right to recommend postgraduates exempting admission examinations. The Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Preparation and Measurement of Building Materials is supported by the doctoral degree program from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at UJN. The Key Laboratory faculties are exploring the fundamental theories and developing cutting-edge technical innovation of advanced building materials, and featuring high performance infrastructure materials for servicing the national great demands and local economic development.
