Each year Purdue FNR holds a judged poster competition to highlight the broad array of research and extension projects that our graduate and undergraduate students lead. Participants in the competition present their poster in a public viewing generally the second Friday of April. During this event, the posters are evaluated for their design elements and content; the student is evaluated on their ability to explain their research or extension project to both a general and scientific audience. Winning students receive $50 - $250 awards in four categories: 1) Undergraduate Research; 2) Undergraduate Extension; 3) Graduate Research; and 4) Graduate Extension.
