Analyses of two different regression models by bootstrapping

Fulya Gokalp, Purdue University

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the use of the bootstrap method to perform statistical inference for nonlinear models with a varying number of observations per subject. The same set of data was fit using a nonlinear parametric equation and a spline. The SAS and R statistical packages are used to implement the analyses.
