Post Graduation Starting Salary Analysis
Abstract
To enhance student’s employability skills, various programs and activities have been added to the course curriculum lately, which includes graduate internships, co-ops, volunteer work, cooperative education assignments etc. This study is aimed to understand the factors responsible for impacting starting salary on graduation. It aims to demonstrate to what degree; completion of internship or related practical experiential program correlates with the starting salary of student after graduation. The study results suggest that internship, GPA and school of study significantly impact the starting salary of an undergraduate student upon graduation.
