Abstract
The researcher interviewed for this data curation profile is working to generate criteria needed to do experiments in human genomic research. Specifically, she focuses on the discovery of codes that regulate the expression of human genes. Her data management needs center on the maintenance of her data and the use of genomic data repositories. She shared that although she currently posts her data and scripts on her personal website, she does not have the resources or expertise to adequately maintain her data. She is interested in depositing her data into a repository once she is confident in the soundness of her research results. Additionally, the researcher stated that there is a need for resources for data archiving at her institution.
