Description

With the advent of ubiquitous robotic technology, people will be in close proximity to robots at home, in public and at work. In many ways the use of robots should make our lives easier, safer and better, as they can do things that humans do not desire to do. But, as robots advance in intelligence, control and autonomy, does this placement within human society make humanity safer or increase our overall level of risk and exposure. We will examine both sides of this robotics risk vs reward dichotomy.
