Abstract
En 2011, Patricia Hart entrevistó a Aitor Berenguer, premiado experto del sonido cinematográfico en España, además de miembro de un reconocido “clan” del cine español. Describe su formación profesional y su carrera, relatando anécdotas sobre sus experiencias y métodos. Se refiere al productor Samuel Bronston, y a los directores José Luis Garci, Stephen Soderburgh y otros, además de comentar el sonido y la actuación de intérpretes como Tim Robbins, Max von Sydow, Imanol Arias, Charo López, Benicio del Toro, Clive Owen y Robert De Niro. Este proyecto fue subvencionado por la Purdue University y está dedicado a Antonio Illán y Leopoldo “Polo” González Aledo.

In 2011, Patricia Hart spoke with eminent Spanish sound professional, Aitor Berenguer, a prizewinning artisan and member of a well-known film family. In the interview, he describes his professional formation and career, telling a wealth of anecdotes about his experiences and methods. He also recounts fascinating tales about producer Samuel Bronston, and directors José Luis Garci, and Stephen Soderburgh, as well as discussing sound and actors like Tim Robbins, Max von Sydow, Imanol Arias, Charo López, Benicio del Toro, Clive Owen, and Robert De Niro. This project was supported by a sabbatical from Purdue University, and is dedicated to Antonio Illán and Leopoldo “Polo” Aledo.
