Abstract

Esta entrevista con el renombrado pionero del sonido cinematográfico español es de 2011. Aquí Goldstein narra su larga colaboración con Ricardo Steinberg, y comenta el pasado, presente y futuro del sonido cinematográfico en España. Incluye muchas anécdotas sobre sus colegas profesionales, y también sobre sus colaboraciones con directores como Carlos Saura, Manuel Gutiérez Aragón, Luis García Berlanga, Julio Medem, Alejandro Amenábar, José Luis Cuerda y Adolfo Aristarain. Este proyecto fue subvencionado por la Purdue University, y está dedicado a Antonio Illán y Leopoldo “Polo” González Aledo.

English Translation:

This is an interview conducted in 2011 with renowned Spanish cinematic sound pioneer, Daniel Goldstein. He describes his professional collaboration with Ricard Steinberg, and also discusses the past, present, and future of Spanish cinematic sound design. Included are anecdotes about his professional colleagues, as well as about his work with directors such as Carlos Saura, Manuel Gutiérez Aragón. Luis García Berlanga, Julio Medem, Alejandro Amenábar, José Luis Cuerda, and Adolfo Aristarain. This project was supported by a sabbatical leave from Purdue University, and is dedicated to Antonio Illán and Leopoldo “Polo” González Aledo.
