Abstract

Building roofing systems are required to withstand great forces generated by wind. Economical and reliable means to reduce these forces will allow for more design flexibility and cost savings. The negative pressure equalizer vent system uses a unique system of vents incorporated into the roofing system that equalize the pressures on the inside and outside of the building. This eliminates the differential and the suction effect of the wind.
