Programmatically-centered design: An integrated approach to LMS design and curation

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to lay out the potential of and an avenue towards increased control of learning management systems by scholars and instructors in Rhetoric and Composition. Building on three years of work in the subject area, as well as relevant research in the field, this dissertation lays out the concept of programmatically-centered design as a method or heuristic for creating custom LMS spaces for writing programs.
